On February 20th, we are organizing a visit to TheCircularLab by Ecoembes in Logroño.
Our partner Ecoembes is opening the doors to TheCircularLab, an open innovation space where the most innovative future solutions related to waste circularity are tested, experimented with, and developed, focusing especially on packaging and its recycling. This laboratory concentrates on various areas of innovation, including the eco-design of packaging, smart waste management in cities, fostering sustainability entrepreneurship, and citizen engagement in recycling practices.
We will complement the trip to Logroño with a visit on the morning of February 21st to Bodegas Beronia, one of the most sustainable and efficient wineries in Europe. The winery implements technological innovations such as environmental design, efficient waste management, and a revolutionary geothermal energy utilization system for facility climate control, significantly reducing its energy consumption.
Itinerary for the trip to Logroño:
February 20th
- 1:00 PM: Arrival in Logroño
- 1:30 PM: Group lunch
- 3:30 PM: Visit to TheCircularLab
- Group dinner
February 21st
- 9:30 AM: Visit to Bodegas Beronia
- Midday: Transfer by minibus to Zaragoza
- Return from Zaragoza by train
